At Face & Eye we have only NHS accredited Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons, trained and specialised in England and the United States. We are qualified to offer the most appropriate procedure for you as an individual, whether that is laser vision correction (LVC), intra-ocular surgery or no intervention at all.
We feel it is important that you have confidence in the surgeon who will perform the surgery. At Face & Eye your assessment will be with the surgeon him or herself so you will have ample time to ask any questions you might have. He or she will test your eyes to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for refractive surgery. If he feels that you may be suitable for laser vision correction at this point, an appointment will be made for further tests, followed by the treatment itself.
If your surgeon feels that your eyes are not suitable for LVC this will be discussed with you. However, all our practitioners are very highly skilled consultant surgeons and are able to offer you a range of procedures to correct your vision, as it may well be that other options are more appropriate for you.
We advise that you then go home and take your time to consider the options, speak to your family and other patients, book a further consultation or simply go ahead and book your surgery.
We will only advise those refractive surgery treatments that we feel are likely to give you the best chance of achieving your goal.
