Thanks to Mr Ikram, and his team, I now have 20/20 vision! I had to have a cataract removed and new lens implant which was a scary thought as I'm only 47. However, I was treated with sensitivity and received excellent personal care from him. It is a rarity that you can email and phone surgeons directly and get a prompt response!
The surgery was painless and quick. I was so amazed at my new sight in the left eye that I opted to have a new lens implant in the right to balance my vision and ensure permanent clarity. I now have great sight and only need specs for reading.

Hi, what is all in a mornings work for you has made a life time of difference to me. We first met when I was referred by my optician and GP as at “ - 26D “ my sight seemed to be deteriorating, even with my contact lenses my vision was fast becoming even more impaired.
After talking to you about lens replacements, even though I was quite apprehensive I was positive it was what I wanted. When the first day of my surgery arrived I was very nervous indeed, but was reassured by yourself and your excellent, professional team.
I was pleasantly surprised I was able to leave the clinic shortly after my operation and was in no pain. The next morning I was able to remove the bandage, it felt like someone had switched the light on for the very first time in 47 years. I was able to see unaided. After just a couple of days I was able to wear make-up and see perfectly out of my new eye. It was like a miracle to me.
All the little things that people take for granted I could now do. When I open my eyes in the morning I could find the light switch, find the door handle and make my way to the bathroom without standing on the cat!!!
It was only two weeks later that I had my second surgery, I will never look back. It is still hard for me to believe that I can see unaided. YOU truly are a gifted professional and have performed what I can only describe as a miracle, for which I will be eternally grateful.
